Grid glasses are ballistic, low-profile glasses/goggle hybrid developed by Wiley X for superb eye protection for sport shooting, outdoor, and law enforcement agencies.
The lenses are extruded, cut, and heat formed from a shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate. The glasses are then layered in scratch-resistant and fog-proof hard coating for increased resistance to grazing and surface damage. It also guarantees 100% UVA and UVB protection with distortionless clarity. The grey-tinted lens grant 15% light transmission, absorb colors equally for proper hue perception, and nullifies reflections.
The reinforced frame and temples are injection molded from Tryloid nylon and anatomically shaped for improved comfort. The utilized material makes it lightweight and exceptionally durable. The Facial Cavity Seal is responsible for blocking-out dirt, dust, and peripheral light. The additional rubber elements on the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip.
Grid glasses comply with harsh protection norms while having a mix of modern and sports looks, with a bit of anonymity in the crowd. It makes them a prime choice for outdoor, sports, and law enforcement applications.
