The Spitfire 1x AR Prism Scope from Vortex was designed as an optimal glass optic solution for the AR15 / AR10 platform, but also will fit perfectly any other type of firearm that need high line sight. The AAA battery compartment is integrated into the base – thanks to this there is no easy to damage external cap and the base itself is sturdy.

The main advantage of the 1x prism scope is the glass-etched DRT (Dual Ring Tactical) reticle that can be used with or without illumination – this means that the optic is always ready to use even if the power source is drained. The other advantage is that this optic type is one of the best solutions for users that want quick-handling characteristics of a red dot sight, but they suffer starburst effects from astigmatism – prism scope completely eliminates such issue. The lenses can be covered by flip caps.

The DRT with dual ring design pulls the eye into instant alignment with the reticle center and allows for rapid acquisition of close targets. The center fine dot gives a great level of precision for long-range shots.
