Precisely CNC machined aluminum cantilever mount developed by Vortex to fit standard Picatinny rails.
The mount is anodized in a matte black coating and fitted with two 1”/25.4mm diameter optical rings. The cantilever is designed to mount optical sights in a forward-raised position and is moved 3” ahead. This technical solution grants correct eye relief distance and place the center of the scope at 1.574“/40mm height above the rail.
For a tight fit and zero retention, the upper half rings should be tightened with a force of 18 in/lbs/2 Nm while rail mount with 20 in-lbs/2.2 Nm. The additional recoil lug guarantees a rock-solid placement on the rail.
